Dans la mythologie nordique, Élivágar (flots tumultueux) est un nom collectif qui désigne les rivières présentes à l’origine du monde et dont la source est Hvergelmir. Les fleuves qui s’écoulent d’Hvergelmir sont à l’origine du monde, dans la mythologie nordique. Ils jouent un rôle dans l’apparition des Jötunn. qui est décrit dans le Vafþrúðnismál :
« Des Élivágar
rejaillirent des gouttes de venin,
Crûrent jusqu’à ce qu’il en sorte un géant ;
Là, nos races
Remontent toutes,
Aussi sont-elles toutes féroces. »
De leur flot glacé émanent des effluves empoisonnés, qui deviennent givre dans l’abîme Ginnungagap. Le Grímnismál donne le nom d’un grand nombre des fleuves de l’Élivágar .
Ce collier très mystique marie un jeu d’entrelacs et un serti Labradorite au centre du collier . La pierre est un cabochon facetté de forme goutte, de très belle qualité avec des teintes vertes, bleues et pointes de doré. Le métal utilisé est un inox type alimentaire, poli, brossé mat et martelé main. Le tour de cou se termine par un mousqueton et une chainette de rallonge agrémentée d’un entrelac. Cela permet de jouer sur la longueur du collier et ajoute à l’ensemble une cohérence harmonieuse. Dimension du cabochon: 4 cm par 2,3 cm.

In Norse mythology, Élivágar (turbulent floods) is a collective name which designates the rivers present at the origin of the world and whose source is Hvergelmir. The rivers that flow from Hvergelmir are the origin of the world, in Norse mythology. They play a role in the appearance of the Jötunn. which is described in the Vafþrúðnismál:
« Of the Élivágar
drops of venom erupted,
They grew until a giant came out;
There, our races
They all come back,
So they are all fierce. »
From their icy flow emanate poisonous effluvia, which become frost in the Ginnungagap abyss. The Grímnismál gives the name of a large number of the rivers of the Élivágar:
