Le mythe du Samudra Manthan rev\u00eat une importance consid\u00e9rable et est racont\u00e9 avec v\u00e9n\u00e9ration dans plusieurs textes sacr\u00e9s, o\u00f9 les protagonistes sont les bienveillants Devas et les puissants Asuras. Au centre de cette histoire se trouve Vishnu, dont le r\u00f4le est crucial pour maintenir l’\u00e9quilibre cosmique.
