\u00ab Les Passages C\u00e9lestes \u00bb est une collection inspir\u00e9e des diff\u00e9rents portes conduisant \u00e0 des univers oniriques mais aussi personnels, des voies qui m\u00e8nent \u00e0 la pleine conscience de soi et du monde. Ces passerelles nous transportent vers des havres supr\u00eames, des finalit\u00e9s plus hautes, des buts ultimes. Ils touchent l\u2019Histoire, la Spiritualit\u00e9, le Fantastique. Empruntons ces passages et nous entrons dans des contr\u00e9es intimes et fantaisistes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Les com\u00e8tes \u00e9taient vues autrefois comme un halo lumineux qui apparaissait \u00e9pisodiquement dans le ciel, et qui \u00e9tait interpr\u00e9t\u00e9, selon son aspect et selon le contexte historique, comme un signe de bon ou mauvais augure. En 1696 encore, William Whiston dans sa Nouvelle Th\u00e9orie de la Terre, avance que la com\u00e8te de 1680 est celle qui provoqua le D\u00e9luge lors d’un passage juste au-dessus de la Terre. Il soutient que les com\u00e8tes sont responsables des catastrophes qu’a connues la Terre tout au long de son histoire, et qu’elles sont guid\u00e9es par la volont\u00e9 divine : \u00ab La Terre selon lui existait dans le chaos avant la cr\u00e9ation dont parle Mo\u00efse et cette cr\u00e9ation n’eut d’autre effet que de lui donner une forme et une consistance propres \u00e0 la mettre en \u00e9tat de servir d’habitation au genre humain. La Terre dit cet auteur devenue fertile et peupl\u00e9e au temps de la cr\u00e9ation conserva cette forme et cette consistance jusqu’au dix-huiti\u00e8me jour de novembre de l’ann\u00e9e 2565 avant la p\u00e9riode julienne o\u00f9 elle eut le malheur de rencontrer et de traverser l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re d’une grande com\u00e8te dont la queue l’inonda d’un immense volume d’eau ce qui produisit le m\u00e9morable fl\u00e9au du d\u00e9luge universel rapport\u00e9 dans l’\u00e9criture, fl\u00e9au d’o\u00f9 sont n\u00e9s tous les ravages toutes les alt\u00e9rations tous les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes physiques qu’on observe \u00e0 la surface et dans int\u00e9rieur de ce globe. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Comets were once seen as a luminous halo which appeared episodically in the sky, and which was interpreted, depending on its appearance and the historical context, as a sign of good or bad omen. As late as 1696, William Whiston in his New Theory of the Earth suggested that the comet of 1680 was the one that caused the Flood when it passed just above the Earth. He maintains that comets are responsible for the catastrophes that the Earth has experienced throughout its history, and that they are guided by divine will: “The Earth according to him existed in chaos before the creation of which Moses speaks and this creation had no other effect than to give it a form and a consistency suitable to put it in a position to serve as a dwelling for the human race. The Earth, says this author, which became fertile and populated at the time of creation, retained this form and consistency until the eighteenth day of November in the year 2565 before the Julian period when it had the misfortune of meeting and crossing the atmosphere of a great comet whose tail flooded it with an immense volume of water which produced the memorable scourge of the universal flood reported in writing, a scourge from which were born all the ravages all the alterations all the phenomena physics that we observe on the surface and in the interior of this globe. \u00bb<\/p>\n
