Ces passerelles nous transportent vers des havres supr\u00eames, des finalit\u00e9s plus hautes, des buts ultimes. Ils touchent l’Histoire, la Spiritualit\u00e9, le Fantastique. Empruntons ces passages et nous entrons dans des contr\u00e9es intimes et fantaisistes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’Art nouveau (appel\u00e9 tr\u00e8s rarement Modern style) est un mouvement artistique de la fin du xixe et du d\u00e9but du xxe si\u00e8cle qui s’appuie sur l’esth\u00e9tique des lignes courbes.<\/strong>
\nN\u00e9 en r\u00e9action contre les d\u00e9rives de l\u2019industrialisation \u00e0 outrance et la reproduction scl\u00e9rosante des anciens styles, c’est un mouvement soudain et rapide, qui conna\u00eet un d\u00e9veloppement international.<\/strong>
\nS’il comporte des nuances selon les pays, ses crit\u00e8res sont communs : l’Art nouveau se caract\u00e9rise par l’inventivit\u00e9, la pr\u00e9sence de rythmes, couleurs, ornementations inspir\u00e9s des arbres, des fleurs, des insectes, des animaux, et qui introduisent du sensible dans le d\u00e9cor quotidien. C’est aussi un art total en ce sens qu’il occupe tout l’espace disponible pour mettre en place un univers personnel consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme favorable \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9panouissement de l’homme moderne \u00e0 l’aube du xxe si\u00e8cle. En France, l’Art nouveau \u00e9tait appel\u00e9 avec humour \u00ab style nouille \u00bb par ses d\u00e9tracteurs comme par l’homme de la rue, en raison de ses formes caract\u00e9ristiques en arabesques, ou encore \u00ab style Guimard \u00bb, \u00e0 cause des bouches de m\u00e9tro parisiennes r\u00e9alis\u00e9es en 1900 par Hector Guimard.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Art Nouveau (very rarely called Modern style) is an artistic movement of the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century which is based on the aesthetics of curved lines.<\/strong>
\nBorn in reaction against the excesses of excessive industrialization and the sclerosing reproduction of old styles, it is a sudden and rapid movement, which is experiencing international development.<\/strong>
\nIf it includes nuances depending on the country, its criteria are common: Art Nouveau is characterized by inventiveness, the presence of rhythms, colors, ornamentations inspired by trees, flowers, insects, animals, and which introduce of the sensitive in the daily decoration. It is also a total art in the sense that it occupies all the space available to set up a personal universe considered favorable to the development of modern man at the dawn of the 20th century. In France, Art Nouveau was humorously called “noodle style” by its detractors as well as by the man in the street, because of its characteristic arabesque shapes, or even “Guimard style”, because of the Paris metro entrances. made in 1900 by Hector Guimard.<\/strong><\/p>\n
