Litha\u00a0est une f\u00eate pa\u00efenne (et Wicca). OVIDE raconte que juste apr\u00e8s sa naissance il fut confi\u00e9 aux Nymphes de Nysa qui dissimul\u00e8rent son berceau en le recouvrant de lierre pour le soustraire \u00e0 la col\u00e8re de JUNON. En effet, l\u2019enfant \u00e9tait n\u00e9 de l\u2019union clandestine de ZEUS et MENELE. Dieu de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation, de la vigne et de l\u2019ivresse\u2026..Son culte est centr\u00e9 sur la libert\u00e9, l\u2019extase par la joie mais aussi sur la brutalit\u00e9 sauvage (effets du vin).BACCHUS utilise le diad\u00e8me de lierre (nomm\u00e9 credemnon) pour soulager ses douleurs de t\u00eate lorsqu\u2019il avait trop bu ainsi que le jus des baies et de la plante pour pr\u00e9venir l\u2019ivresse (la symbolique restera jusqu’\u00e0 nos jours dans l\u2019ornementation des portes et de la d\u00e9coration des tavernes afin de rendre \u00ab le vin innocent \u00bb).<\/p>\n
