D’après le mythe mexica, chaque nuit la lune livrait bataille à son frère Huitzilopochtli (le soleil), qui étaient les enfants de Coatlicue, déesse mère de la terre et régente des Quatre cent méridionaux, leurs frères, les étoiles du sud.
La légende de Coyolxauhqui et de son démembrement par Huitzilopochtli est l’explication du phénomène des phases de la lune, qui meurt afin de laisser naître le Soleil.

Collier tour de cou laiton brossé vernis satin composé d’ un fil laiton qui enserre le cou. Un serti Pierre de Lune en pendentif est accroché au tour de cou. Le serti est surmonté d’un disque qui symbolise le soleil et d’un petit croissant de lune.
Le collier est malléable, il peut se serrer et desserrer pour s’adapter au plus près de votre cou .
Dimension du tour de cou: 35 cm à environ 40 cm.
Dimension du cabochon: 3,5 cm par 2,4 cm. Dimension du pendentif:10,6 cm par 5,3 cm.

Ce collier est en laiton premier titre, brossé et vernis satin haute résistance pour éviter toutes oxydation.

According to the Mexica myth, every night the moon fought her brother Huitzilopochtli (the sun), who were the children of Coatlicue, mother goddess of the earth and ruler of the Southern Four Hundred, their brothers, the southern stars. The legend of Coyolxauhqui and its dismemberment by Huitzilopochtli is the explanation of the phenomenon of the phases of the moon, which dies in order to give birth to the Sun.

Satin varnished brushed brass choker necklace composed of a brass wire which surrounds the neck. A Moonstone pendant setting hangs around the neck. The setting is surmounted by a disc symbolizing the sun and a small crescent moon. The collar is malleable, it can tighten and loosen to fit closer to your neck. Neck size: 35 cm to about 40 cm. Dimension of the cabochon: 3.5 cm by 2.4 cm. Dimension of the pendant: 10.6 cm by 5.3 cm. This necklace is in first grade brass, brushed and high resistance satin varnish to prevent any oxidation.
